Chapter 1: Building the Bridge for Friendship

Chapter 1: Building the Bridge for Friendship

I have not seen anyone become friends without building the bridge for friendship. What is the bridge exactly? It is simply just in one simple word, communication. I started with building the bridge for friendship because people become friends just by talking with each other.

I am not saying that anything besides communication is not cultivating friendship. You can say that you become friends with each other because you played computer games with each other. But communication is the fundamental key to building or cultivating your friendship.

Let divide communication into two simple parts:

Communication to and fro with a group

Communication to and fro with an individual

Communication in a group can be the downfall for some introverts but extroverts enjoy them well. Some introverts find it hard to talk in a group level because of their reluctance to engage in group level. Not only they are lazy at talking in a group, but sometimes they find themselves out of place or ignored when they talked.

Eventually, they may not talk in a group for these reasons. Extroverts enjoy the situation because they are the one talking most of the time. People normally pick a subject to talk about and extroverts are generally good at that.

Introverts are generally good at individual talk because they always tried their effort to get an intimate relationship. They find it less pressurizing when talking individually. Extroverts themselves are good at both but some of them may desire a group talk, than an individual talk.

Most importantly, talk like yourself. I realised some people who do not like group conversation and they tried to force their way as an extrovert. If you are an introvert, be one. Do not try to be someone else either because everyone is not perfect.

I realised some introverts find it happy to be at group because they are engaged in a communication. It is simply because people talked with them and therefore they enjoyed their stay in group.
