Today's computing test is so so hard and I think I am going to fail again..Unless there is a good moderation like many people fail this computing test,I doubt I would pass the test..Anyway,I did not study at all so it is like deserved it..Last week's computing test is already hard enough..Now is harder..With some excel programming but I wish that it was mathematics more than programming..
This proves that I am not a geek,if I am,I would pass it with flying colors..
Day is still normal and waiting for the lesson to start again..Again team up with Izza and I have a good scribe..I do not know what to do for today and I would not be playing my computer but my psp..

Poly Advantage
I was playing my psp again and I heard a very common conversation in Singapore(I do not know if such things happened to other countries)The conversation is simply just junior college is better than polytechnics.I am getting a bit sian(bored) with this kind of unfounded conversation.It is a known fact that junior college graduates in Singapore could get into fancy university like National University Of Singapore.
But a lot of people were "shot dead" by A level and once they reached university,they faced the nightmare again and worse thing is that,it is part time work.Not that I am saying polytechnics are less stressful,because I have heard stories people burning their candles at both ends just to do some projects..
If you are those in the category of entrepreneurs,I would say that polytechnics are a better choice.Junior college is like reading lots of book but no real life skills.You have lot of knowledge but there are many factors that employers are looking in you..
If they want only knowledge,they would not have interview.But they would have gone for some fancy test to see that you have knowledge in the job.In this way,junior college would be better.In the interview,what are they looking for?
Communication skill is one of them.Stories of people even with university degree struggled to impress the interviewer.This can be solved by having powerpoint presentation,which is so so common in polytechnics..
There is also one factor that people are looking in you:leadership.There are great multitude of people but few are leaders.In the class,you can hardly see people volunteering to be a leader because it is one of the challenging jobs to be one.You must take responsibility for mistakes and you need to organize the ideas given by the teammates.People management is one of the uphill climb because people may not do your work and it takes a good leader to achieve what you must do for the team.

Privacy Most
If you want privacy over your mail, let me tell you something. Organisations are able to see your message if it is under your organisations. For example, you are just writing a normal message like how are you? It is ok. But it is not ok if you are talking to your girlfriend or boyfriend (other things you dun like others to see) It is about the same like you are messaging and someone is looking behind you. Polytechnics are also organisation and if you are like me who value your privacy, here is the solution.
I would not provide much details but PGP(Pretty Good Privacy) can solve your problem. Learn how to use it and secure your email from peeping toms.
To be truthful, I am quite sad to leave this current batch to join another class. I do not know how to describe it but I would say that it is hard to find a good class like this.
The competitive level is high and there is a spirit of unity which is quite rare.Just hope can get a better class,but seriously doubt so.

XML AND HTML
Just starting in morning,dum dum Danny called me asking me why is xml created?But I seriously think that people should pick up a book about programming and start reading about it...The fear of being a geek is dumb or else stupid..A lot of people are studying programming and are just hoping to go through it..I am guessing that they are failing their test too..Programming can be a dry subject because you are looking at data and mathematics..
I read a bit of HTML and a little XML..The table is the hard part and XML is a little bit of HTML..But I am not good at it..(Short term memory)Enterprise day hasn't gone any better..It always get better...

I see other polytechnics that they are indeed rushing their student with lots of projects. The talking by them is scary enough that they are doing projects, projects and projects. Some have lost their sleep and some even not slept at all. At first, I thought it was poor time management but I see that it is not of this. They are like bombarded with projects now and then. I am really glad enough or else I would have landed in IMH (Institute of Mental Health and I am not kidding, I would)
I am a little bored with the routine work in polytechnic but that is helping you to working life, which is more of routine work. Countdown to poly holidays(Yippee!!!)

Second time left my power cable at school..Absent minded me..I getting sian of understanding test and looks like sianness is going to end soon..Because holidays are coming soon and sadly the time to change class is also going to happen..It is better to stay where you are but maybe the chair people thinks that we need to adapt to different people..
Now Ck,not the shopping department in Singapore gave me his maplestory private server,which means I am going to play maplestory soon..
At least someone is playing with me and I am happy to have a playing partner..^^

Forum moderators needed
After losing interest in Gunbound, I am heading back to my own forum. Here is the surprise; I have 400 over visitors and 4 registered users. I am finding for moderators and as I am struggling to fill in the blanks. Now, the tough question is that who would be my moderators or even administrators. I have been struggling to make a mark in the forum for there are many things that need to be covered and I am new in managing a forum.
But it could be said to be a good learning experience for me.
And who knows that my future job would require managing a forum. The module is getting harder and it is Maths, which I am facing. (My long time adversary)
Been trying to read four different book at one time and it is a good way to fall asleep. My mother has been complaining that I am sleeping too late and I went to bed at 11 something. Everybody seems so busy and I seem so free.
But if anyone wants to have a try what is being a moderator, please let me know or emailed me.

This is the summarized version.This is quite old as it is in 2003.Maybe it is a good thing where computer security is tightened.But the need to tighten because hackers are growing everyday,not dropping some of the big countries have prevented people from downloading things like port scanner and vulnerability scanner.But whatever the case,I just sit back and watch how it is going on.Today science lesson again..Now about biology and with Ben..Maybe it is a blessing in disguise.I do not know anything about biology..(so has excuse now)

Summaryyyy
Friday seems to be a long awaited day for me..Firstly,I can take a good rest from school work.Secondly,I am going to church which I really enjoyed.Thirdly,I am meeting old Wei Han andd Jun Xian..My church was organizing CREATE 2008,which features Vocal solo and a band...There was a few surprises here and there was Adrian who sang quite well..The last four plus the Raffles Girl sang really well and I was sad that I could not hear their voice again..The notable highlight is Alvin who sang Amazing Grace(My Chains Are Gone) almost like the real song artist(Chris Tomlin) and Ernest won the first prize.
After this,I met with Wei Han and Jun Xian again..Guess we were tired and rarely talked..Jun Xian still talked a lot with his friend..The phone rang..It was Jacintha who called me and asked me to join in with them..So I have to leave Wei Han all..
And forget the thing that gave me a nasty shock and here was I treated like a prince though..We go to Long John Sliver,which was chosen by me and failed to trick them with the monkey and coconut tree..Ate with Yue Jie,Joanne,Ryan,Jacintha,Gary,Daryl and Jun Leong..Rarely talked though and only suggested a joke..
On Saturday,I became a photographer..Sent to a mission to take photos of Chinatown and the theme was LIFE..I always believed that when we talked about life,we thought of people again..I would upload my best three photos here..

After so long not working with Ben,today is the day I worked with him again..Haha..no comments for this..I have been studying computing and is hard to stop..I have been quite sad that I cannot hep quite a lot of people who are doing programming and even upset when I cannot help someone especially in the areas of Java and C source code..I have been playing Gunbound but is getting boring because many friends are not playing with me..But I cannot be so selfish to ask my friends who are so busy to play..I now studying cryptography and it is a really fun subject but some math skills are needed..Algorithm is needed and but I hope to read more about it soon..
I am borrowing a book called Windows Vista security.It is very hard to find books like this because network security are normally about using Linux..
Unless you are so rich,you can buy airpcap driver...(costs around $400+)

Culture Day20
It is culture day again..Starting to blog early morning..Everybody is so busy nowadays..NYP students so many projects..So scary sia..Heard that other polys also came up wit many projects..Strangely enough,RP students are not so free either..I coming back to learning about anti hacking and computer virology..Not only that,I have a big chemistry book for first year university student..That means if I read it,I would become a university student..
Gunbound is getting bored le..Though I roughly know how to use Boomer and it is a fun bot to use,but I am getting sian(bored) le..My favorite map is Miramo(1),there is two Miramos..Feel like playing with anyone,maybe with Danny or even Wei Han..I am happy that I use boomer defeat a Maya(the user is not noob)..For students studying for programming,it is better to know early than to let it haunt you..To tell you the truth,reading programming is not as bad as reading Mathematics book(esp you dun like Maths).
So encourage you people to read up..Who knows?That you will become a geek..(Cold joke)

Computing$&$#&$
Computing week again and it bores me again..Now this is worst of the worst for now..It is Visual Basic and Excel together..Both of my hated enemies la..I rather do some decent C source code or some Java program..Should go for some IT course..As for me,I am getting bored of school..Even today,I feel like skipping school..Anyway,I downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird..And finally I configured it to read my Outlook..
Which makes security one of the highest priorities..But I think I would be strengthening it again..
At least now,I know what I am going to study in the future...

3. Biology
4.Physics
This maybe what I am going to do in the future..Biology and Physics is only a "maybe" but I think I may not be studying it..But the job requirement always come with Physics..And I heard there are many Mathematical formulas..So I must improve Maths..

Boring Day
Science lesson again and uncompleted Understanding test..Brought my internet modem which means I am going to play gunbound..So that I can thrash bad Wei Han who keeps bullying me...Sometimes not knowing is better than knowing a little..After studying a little about computer virology and penetration testing,I am very tempted to do something like that..But I had to get a proper firewall not Windows Firewall,but Checkpoint firewall which costs about $105..
It is painful in the wallet though..It is not easy to find people that will ask you to penetration test your computer..Even though it can be good because it tests your vulnerability of the system itself,but people do not like it..It is quite risky because I just started..
But I am very happy that I found my little internet modem..Find so long then realized it is under my bed..I was like so panicked la...Unlocked extras for my Gundam Battle Chronicles..The mission is like so hard but I completed some..

Cosmo Bistro
I was playing my psp and it is Gundam Battle Chronicles... The boss is getting harder to fight and you are fighting against many battleships..I am like so struggling to win lo...Then, someone called me out... Guess who? It is Danny Ho, who asked me to go to his restaurant so that he can drink beer...In the end, I went out..Welcome to Cosmo Bistro, where tigers meet pussy..(It is the phrase to describe the place) He was wearing some enterprise shirt which I thought he was going to work instead of drinking...
It was a cafe in the open air and I was wearing two clothes..(so it was hot la) That dum Danny asked me to buy something and I had to buy some green tea which can be made at home..And it is much cheaper la..
We talked a little about school and some personal things.. I was staring at Lucky Plaza more and the night lights were so bright makes me feel like sleeping.. He was again gazing at girls..After he drunk, his face looks like some Rudolph the Red nose reindeer (But he looks like Rudolph the red face reindeer) There was a songstress there though the voice is good, but it made me tired..
We walked around Orchard aimlessly and in the end, we headed to the mrt because I feels too tired.. This dum fellow go to Toa Payoh to meet his girlfriend.. Still buy some burger la and I nearly fell asleep at Macdonald...
Then, this boy go to Giordano and realized that his girlfriend has went to Mrt..Then I had to run with him to catch up with his girlfriend..Then still ps me for his gf..But never mind, I had a nice sleep.. Then later, I got out of the train and he and his girlfriend also got out of the train..
They wanted to play hide and seek but I was quite sleepy so I headed back home..

Me at Paragon
Just because one dumb Adventure Learning, I had to miss my favourite cognitive lesson...So sad, right? I had to follow my mother to Paragon, all the way to orchard..I rarely shopped and I normally dun go to such fancy place like Paragon.(I am not rich la) My mother planned to go to Paragon for some treatment so that she would not wear contact lenses anymore. I stayed there playing my psp with my new Gundam game called Gundam Battle Chronicles..
It is not bad game but its missions are dumb...Where got mobile suit so imba? Hit you one time is half life gone..Still got shield some more..
The best thing is that, I got the chance to use Mac pc for a while and to tell you the truth, it is so hard to say that Mac is not good.. Its browser are placed nicely and its graphic is much better than Windows..(No offense to Windows)
After that, my mother was disappointed because the doctor said that it was too dangerous to do it.. So she gone home disappointed. I got to go to Takashimaya and eat some omelette rice with chicken teriyaki..It is nice la but the dum thing is that its dessert is cold Marconi and who in the world uses Marconi as a dessert.
I bought some chesse cakes and realised I had phlegm. So cannot eat them or else it will get worse and bought takoyaki balls, no octopus but bacon and cheese..

Still Gunbounding
Just three Gp,I am a double sliver axe and I play Sg account..It looks pathetic compared to Dexter..He's sliver star and even Js' one is better than me..I dun like my winning rate for my turtle..So unfair..I am bad at close range and I normally stationed near an enemy...My angle is destroyed and I do not know how to use long fork..Not only that,many people use maya and it is so powerful la..In the end,I also joined in to use maya and hardly find any game without maya..I go to the zone where it is above the event box and all I see is wand and dragon..And their rank is about the same as their aiming..
Welcome to the hardest UT..And it is so hard until I have no confident of getting a question correct and I did study for it..Where got people use binomial distribution for 1200 for an E maths student like me?
Everyone in my class is now infected with the Wonder Girl and they are singing tell me,tell me...Hello..Gundam Fan here..Ok la..I am playing Gunbound in the break so slacked..Must apologize to my team mates..
Anyway,Wei Han bully me sia..use random and feel so awkward when using random with him..So unfair..turtle power and angle are different from others and it makes things confusing..And when I am not using turtle,I normally use boomer which is so "easy" to use..Played with Dexter and Joshy..Dexter is still so gd..He say he dun bully hl but see him so good,so hard to believe him..

Slacking Day
Haha..Did not update yesterday because I was gunbounding...So long never go play now got new vehicle called Maya..Its shot 1 is an axe and shot 2 is like trico and is much powerful..Partically shot is 150+..so imba..Like nak that..Now very few people use nak and everybody is normally using maya..But the worst thing is that stupid ss..Can one shot ko and some dum dum go try use ss+ which means that they can use ss immediately...Until one day I has ss+(actually I already have one and can use it against Wei Han)..
Too bad he wand le which means pro...What worse..I am favoured boomer and turtle and they have different angles and power to be used..They are like so diff la..
Today see Norlyn and Rui Wei..Sitting in front of them in the bus..Say a hi and rushed off to class la..Computing again..and it is VBS the most exciting topic..Looks so easy but do so hard...Going to slack liao..But cannot la..My teammates nd my help..Haha..Kidding you all very smart..

Birthday Post
Blogging with u in Woodsland library..You may be asking why I am in there..Not to lend books but to get free power supply..Haha..I obtained some money from my parents and family..
Though I had just enough to buy the gift I wanted but I guess I rather not waste my money on this..I do not quite believe in saving money though...Quite bored for today..Because there is nothing to do at home or outside..
Friends are busy going somewhere else and parents are not quite the people you want to spend time with..Sometimes it is good to be alone for now..Now I am thinking of what gift should I get for myself..

All Girls Team
This is the first time I am surrounded by all girls..Maybe I should be happy..But they so bad..Shoot me(not literally)..Feel so sad..Haha...Too bad..I wanted to take a sneak photo but was scolded la..So never mind..Today is cognitive...Knowledge and capabilities..Is working experience more valued than theories,formulas and methods.Ok la..Actually I more agreed on this topic..Look at the enterprise world,people of more experience are welcomed in and people even with doctorate are casted away.But still,college are still recommended to go and study la..
I asked my brother to buy either a Legend Gundam or a Zonealarm Internet Suite..But it looks like it is almost impossible to buy these because the Legend Gundam has not been seen.The Zonealarm seems to be updating to a new one..
So sad..But I guess Saturday I would be free.So I would be finding friends to go out with..

UT again
Again I stepped into the classroom and low and behold,there is a UT and what more?It is enterprise but it looks more like accountancy..For example,they will give you the interest rate and the time and they give you the money...And now,wat is the amount accumulated?And I tink I may flunk it la...The hardest thing is to score well for such subjects..Today is cultural..The qn is imagine you wake up and do not know WHO AM I.What questions would you ask?What would you do?
Nothing and returned to sleep ba..Why care so much who you are?I should be eating foods other than western food..I am sick of eating it..My mother has asked me where to eat?
1st-Japanese Food
2nd-Italian Food(Cannot eat)
3rd-Chinese Food
No western foods..Sick of all fish and chips,chicken cutlet,chicken chop and other kinds of foods you could tink of...Italian food..Too bad I have phlegmn so I cannot eat or else I would cough very badly..Sick of Chinese food liao(But I do not mind Din Tai Fung)
